Is it just me, or does there seem to a nutrition information overload of late? Advice is available everywhere. With the explosion of numerous social media avenues and growing consumer interest in nutrition, there is more nutrition information than ever.
But who should you believe?
I think nutrition information can be likened to diets.
As a university trained health professional I often place an emphasis on the quality of the diet as a whole, nut just the individual elements within it. If you think about focusing on nutrient dense foods, so to should we be looking at nutrition dense information also. The old adage of quality, not quantity. I believe that the quality of nutrition information can best guide your own health and nutrition knowledge immensely.
This begs me to ask the question. Where do you get your nutrition information from?
